I have studied Journalism for my BA degree. I'm a writer. Generally, politics, world news, entertainment, lifestyle and reviews are my fields of choice, but in my current job I write about global business and corporate affairs. I want to diversify.

2008 - 2010
This job involved me in the world of events, advertising and promotions. While with the company, I planned weddings, marketing campaigns, hospitality management, logistics, conferences & press release etc. I dealt with companies like DLF, Johnson & Johnson, Carl Zeiss, PepsiCo, International Ophthalmology Association and IPL, among others.
2007 - 2008
During this period I worked for various companies as a freelancer. My main work involved anchoring shows, supervise manpower and designs, and coordinating logistics.

2012 - 2012
I worked for the British car-insurance giants, Admiral Group. My work involved speaking to Britain-based customers, assisting them, answering queries, updating & upgrading the database etc. I quit the company because it became exceedingly difficult to balance work with studies.

2014 - 2014
My work at Digicaptions involved transcribing, editing, proofreading and creating subtitles for films, mostly American, Canadian, British and Australian. I got disenchanted by the monotony of the work. Had very limited scope of growth.

2012 - 2012
This was a mandatory month-long internship. I worked at the sports department, and had the opportunity of interviewing a few eminent sporting figures from the city and beyond. I took great pleasure in covering I-League and IBL.
2015 - Present
Working at Silicon India includes writing for the magazine, developing content, proofreading, interviewing,editing and designing. Under the flagship of Silicon India, i further work for two subsidiary magazines, Consultants Review and Outsourcing Gazette. The magazines cater to the Indian and the US business communities.
