I am currently a freelance writer for Human Capital Magazine, India's leading Human Resources Magazine with increasing international subscriptions. As a freelance writer for the magazine, I regularly produce articles in the realm of HR practices. IELTS - International English Language Testing System As a British Council certified IELTS Invigilator, my primary duties are to ensure that candidate registrations are complete, conduct identity checks before and during the examination and provide complete administrative support to lead invigilators in running the test smoothly. Usually the tests involve 40-60 candidates and tasks may involve putting up test signs across the venue, helping candidates find the allotted seats, making sure that all candidates follow test instructions, invigilation during the test to monitor and prevent malpractice or cheating. As an invigilator I take responsibility to ensure that examination conditions are maintained as per British Council standard guidelines. As part of this role I also take ownership of student queries and issues and ensure that all situations or incidents are dealt professionally. I also strive to maintain the highest standards of customer service and contribute to successful conduct at all exams.

Employability (Placements) Officer, Business School Employability Office

As a placements officer in the Business School, I am responsible to be the main point of contact for all employability related activities. The role involves providing guidance and career advice to both undergraduate and post-graduate students in the Business School. I am responsible for support to all placement and Erasmus (Study exchange) students and maintain high levels of customer care. I also act as a liaison for employers offering placement opportunities to our students and organize events to support the employability agenda of the Business School. Some of my tasks include- events management, social media management for the Employability office, maintenance of VLE (Virtual Learning Environment), production of marketing material and official communications.
