What charges/fees do I have to pay?

Back To All FAQ

Work-N-Hire will charge a service fee of 5% (promotional stage) + service tax for all payments received by the Freelancers from the Client.

Work N Hire makes sure that you are aware of the service fee and that you consider it while bidding for projects by showing the amount of fees applicable for all proposal amounts.

    Hello,
I just want to know what is the amount of service tax for a project?

The service tax for a project is 12.36% (current service tax slab as per govt) of the fees that you pay to Work N Hire (which is 5% at the moment of the transaction amount). So effectively the Service tax amount comes out to be .618% (for 5% service fee) of the entire transaction amount.

I’m confused. Take an example; Project is of value Rs. 1,00,000.
What is the final payment I receive, after deducting taxes and service fee of 5%??

        • worknhire

The total transaction cost including service fee (12.36%) would be 5.618% of total transaction. In your example a total of Rs 5,618 is deducted as a transaction fee. Please let us know if that clarifies your doubt.

What is the minimum payment a freelancer gets for a 500 words content here. Although it all depends on quality and natute of content & contractor and client, I need an approximate figure or amount from you on the same.

    • worknhire

Hi Sudhir, WorknHire isn’t involved in direct hiring of the freelancers and hence we cannot comment on the rate being offered for a 500 words content. The amount depends entirely on the client and the freelancer.
