I want to hire a publicist for my e-book "Kerala Hugged". Modalities will be as follows: 1. Free copy of the e-book shall be provided to the publicist. The book is presently being sold through Google Books and Smashwords' distribution channels (iTunes, Kobo, B&N, Inktera, Scribd, etc.). The price of the e-book has been fixed at 99 cents. 2. The publicist shall read the e-book and decide whether he wants to work on the project or not. 3. Once the publicist decides to take up the project, he will be given full freedom to promote the e-book as he wants without any questions being asked. However, the promotion shouldn't in any manner lead to the defamation of the book or the author. All cost and expenditure for the promotion shall be borne by the publicist. 4. The publicist shall be paid at the rate of 50% of the royalty received from the sale of the book across the channels except Amazon, where the book shall not be sold. 5. If the publicist can generate a successful pitch with any of the top 5 traditional publisher or any other publisher of the choice of the author for publication of the paperback edition, he shall be paid 50% of the royalty received from the traditional publisher as well. However, the agreement with the traditional publisher will be at the sole discretion of the author without any intervention of the publicist. If interested reply to this post. So, that's an addition too.
